Ethics

This statement of scientific code of ethics is a statement of code of ethics for all parties involved in the publication process of this scientific journal, namely the writer, editor, reviewer.

  1. Standard for Authors
  • Article standard, Authors must certify that their manuscripts are their original work. Plagiarism, Duplicate, Data Fabrication and Falsification, and Redundant Publications are forbidden.
  • Authenticity and plagiarism, Authors must ensure that their work is fully original, and if the author has used the work and words of others who have been quoted or quoted correctly.
  • Multiple publications, Author should not publish manuscripts that descriptively describe the same research in more than one journal or other publication. Sending the same text to more than one journal simultaneously is unethical and unacceptable publishing behavior.
  • Fundamental mistake, when an author discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in his/her own published work, it is the author's obligation to promptly notify the Journal editor or publisher and cooperate with the editor to retract or correct the paper.
  1. Standard for Editorial Board
  • Confidentiality,  editors and section editors are prohibited from providing any information about manuscripts sent to anyone other than writers, sustainable partners, the editorial board, and other publishers.
  • Decision of Publication, journal editors are responsible for determining which articles are published. The editors can solicit input from the journal editorial board and available tools to deal with copyright infringement and plagiarism. The editors can discuss with other editors and reviewers to make this decision.
  • Conflict of Interest, unpublished material written in the submitted text may not be used in the editor's own research without the written consent of the author.
  • Manuscript Review, the editor must ensure that each manuscript is evaluated by the editor in relation to originality and uses peer reviewers that are appropriate for articles that are deemed to be published by selecting people with sufficient expertise.
  1. Standard for Reviewers
  • Confidentiality, every text received for review must be treated as a confidential document. They may not be shown to others except those authorized by the editor.
  • Objectivity Standards, the review process must be carried out objectively. Personal criticism for writers is not right.
  • Speed, every selected reviewer who feels ineligible to review the manuscript must notify the editor and resign from the review process
  • Decision, Reviewers must bring to the attention of the Editor Board any information that may be a reason to reject publication of a manuscript.
  • Disclosure and Conflict of Interest, Reviewers must notify AIJBS of any conflicts of interest.

Pernyataan kode etik ilmiah ini merupakan pernyataan kode etik bagi semua pihak yang terlibat dalam proses publikasi jurnal ilmiah ini, yaitu penulis, editor, reviewer.

  1. Standar untuk Penulis
  • Standar artikel, Penulis harus menyatakan bahwa manuskrip mereka adalah karya asli mereka. Dilarang melakukan plagiarisme, Duplikat, Fabrikasi dan Pemalsuan Data, dan Publikasi yang Berlebihan.
  • Keaslian dan plagiarisme, Penulis harus memastikan bahwa karya mereka sepenuhnya asli, dan jika penulis telah menggunakan karya dan kata-kata orang lain yang telah dikutip atau dikutip dengan benar.
  • Publikasi ganda, Penulis tidak boleh menerbitkan manuskrip yang secara deskriptif menggambarkan penelitian yang sama di lebih dari satu jurnal atau publikasi lain. Mengirim teks yang sama ke lebih dari satu jurnal secara bersamaan adalah perilaku penerbitan yang tidak etis dan tidak dapat diterima.
  • Kesalahan mendasar, ketika seorang penulis menemukan kesalahan atau ketidakakuratan yang signifikan dalam karyanya yang diterbitkan, adalah kewajiban penulis untuk segera memberi tahu editor atau penerbit Jurnal dan bekerja sama dengan editor untuk menarik kembali atau memperbaiki makalah.

 

  1. Standar untuk Dewan Redaksi
  • Kerahasiaan, editor dan editor bagian dilarang memberikan informasi apa pun tentang manuskrip yang dikirim kepada siapa pun selain penulis, mitra berkelanjutan, dewan redaksi, dan penerbit lain.
  • Keputusan Publikasi, editor jurnal bertanggung jawab untuk menentukan artikel mana yang diterbitkan. Para editor dapat meminta masukan dari dewan editorial jurnal dan alat yang tersedia untuk menangani pelanggaran hak cipta dan plagiarisme. Para editor dapat berdiskusi dengan editor dan reviewer lain untuk membuat keputusan ini.
  • Benturan Kepentingan, materi yang tidak dipublikasikan yang ditulis dalam teks yang dikirimkan tidak boleh digunakan dalam penelitian editor sendiri tanpa persetujuan tertulis dari penulis.
  • Naskah Review, editor harus memastikan bahwa setiap naskah dievaluasi oleh editor dalam kaitannya dengan orisinalitas dan menggunakan peer reviewer yang sesuai untuk artikel yang dianggap diterbitkan dengan memilih orang yang memiliki keahlian yang memadai.

 

  1. Standar untuk Reviewer
  • Kerahasiaan, setiap teks yang diterima untuk ditinjau harus diperlakukan sebagai dokumen rahasia. Mereka tidak boleh diperlihatkan kepada orang lain kecuali yang diizinkan oleh editor.
  • Standar Objektivitas, proses peninjauan harus dilakukan secara objektif. Kritik pribadi untuk penulis tidak tepat.
  • Kecepatan, setiap reviewer terpilih yang merasa tidak memenuhi syarat untuk mereview naskah harus memberitahu editor dan mengundurkan diri dari proses review
  • Keputusan, Reviewer harus memberitahukan kepada Dewan Redaksi setiap informasi yang mungkin menjadi alasan untuk menolak publikasi naskah.
  • Pengungkapan dan Konflik Kepentingan, Peninjau harus memberi tahu AIJBS tentang konflik kepentingan apa pun.

Author Guidelines

The Manuscripts

  1. The manuscripts represent academic research in Business economics discipline. It should contribute novelty or state-of-the-art for academic development or real world application or both. The sentences should be plain and straightforward to avoid ambiguities.
  2. When submitting the manuscript, the author should provide a letter states that the manuscripts have never been, or under consideration to be, published in other journal publications.

Structure of The Manuscripts

  1. Title. The title should be clear and informative, but does not exceed 10 words.
  2.  Author's names and institutions. The author's names should be accompanied by the author's institutions and an email account, without any academic title. For a joint paper, one of the authors should be notified as the corresponding author.
  3. Abstract, keywords, and JEL classification numbers. The abstract should be less than 200 words. Please provide the abstract in both English and Indonesian versions. The key words should be of 3 to 5 words or phrases. Please provide at least one JEL (Journal of Economic Literature) classification number that suits your manuscript, which is available at http://www.aeaweb.org/jel/jel_class_system.php.
  4. Introduction. This section explains the background of the study, a review on the previous researches in the area, and aims of the manuscripts. It should be written without numbers and/or pointers.
  5. Methods. This section describes the tools of analysis along with the data and their sources.
  6. Results and Discussion. This section explains the results of the study.
  7. Conclusion. This section concludes and provides policy implications, if any, of the study. The conclusion(s) should be at the same order with ones discussed in the body of the manuscript.
  8. Acknowledgment. Acknowledgment, if any, should be written as the foot-note of the manuscript's title.
  9. References. This section lists only the papers, books, or other types of publications referred in the body of the manuscript.

Subjects and Authors Index

The authors should provide an index of subject, namely the specific terms in the manuscript. The authors should also provide the index of authors, namely the key authors of papers referred in the manuscript. Please write the family name followed by the given name.

Specific Writing Format

  1. Estimation result from a software package is not allowed to be directly presented in the paper. They should be presented in equations with the appropriate estimation results, or in a table summary.
  2. Any table should contain only heading and contents. Please provide only the top and bottom lines, along with the line(s) that separate the heading and the contents. Note(s) and source(s) should be included underneath the table if appropriate. Example:

 General Writing Format

  1. The manuscript is prepared in a A4 paper, single-sided, and single line spacing format. A new paragraph should start 5 characters from the left margin, using 12-size, Calilbri font type.
  2. The manuscript is written in proper English, either British English.
  3. The manuscript should be between 12 to 15 pages long.
  4. The top and bottom margins are 1 inch.
  5. The title is written using capital letters only at first word or special name (example: location name), 14 font size, center position.
  6. Sub titles are written using capital letters only at first word or special name, 12 font size, started from the left margin.
  7. Sub of sub titles, if any, are written using capital letters only at first word or special name. They should be started from the left margin.
  8. Sub of sub of sub titles, if any, are written using capital letters only at the beginning of each word except for connecting words, all in italics. They should be started from the left margin.
  9. References should be those of the last ten years publication (>80%), except for key references (80%). Referring to any textbook should be minimized (<20%).

References

References (use APA 7th edition). Don’t put extra references which are not cited in the text. Editorial board suggest Grammarly, Mendeley, and Zotero while preparing a good quality of manuscript

Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to this journal must follow focus and scope, and author guidelines of this journal. The submitted manuscripts must address scientific merit or novelty appropriate to the focus and scope. All manuscripts must be free from plagiarism contents. All authors are suggested to use plagiarism detection softaware to do the similarity checking. Editors check the plagiarism detection of articles in this journal by using a Turnitin software. 

The research article submitted to this journal will be peer-reviewed at least 2 (two) or more expert reviewers. The reviewers give scientific valuable comments improving the contents of the manuscript.

Final decision of articles acceptance will be made by Editors according to reviewers comments. Publication of accepted articles including the sequence of published articles will be made by Editor in Chief by considering sequence of accepted date and geographical distribution of authors as well as thematic issue.

Policy Of Screening For Plagiarism
All manuscripts must be free from plagiarism contents. All authors are suggested to use plagiarism detection software to do the similarity checking. Editors check the plagiarism detection of articles in this journal by using a Turnitin software.

Copyright aims to protect the specific way the article has been written to describe an experiment and the results. International Journal of Law Policy and Governance is committed to its authors to protect and defend their work and their reputation and takes allegations of infringement, plagiarism, ethical disputes, and fraud very seriously. International Journal of Law Policy and Governance is published under the terms of the Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0). Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication (online and print) with the work simultaneously. We use the restrictive license (non-commercial) as follows:

 BY (attribution): Users are allowed to share, distribute and redistribute the published article in any medium or format, with an identification of the authors and its initial publication in this journal. Authors are encouraged to post and distribute their articles immediately after publication (e.g., institutional or public repositories, personal websites). Authors are allowed to enter into additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the published and an acknowledgment of its initial publication in this journal.

 NC (non-commercial): Users are not allowed to use the article commercially without the permission of the authors. Author's Warranties
The author warrants that the article is original, written by stated author/s, has not been published before, contains no unlawful statements, does not infringe the rights of others, is subject to copyright that is vested exclusively in the author and free of any third party rights, and that any necessary written permissions to quote from other sources have been obtained by the author(s).

User Rights
Under the Creative Commons Attribution-Non Commercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license, the author(s) and users are free to share (copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format) and adapt (remix, transform, and build upon the material). Users must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made.

Rights of Authors
Authors retain the following rights:

  1. Copyright, and other proprietary rights relating to the article, such as patent rights,
  2. The right to use the substance of the article in future own works, including lectures and books,
  3. The right to reproduce the article for own purposes, provided the copies are not offered for sale, and
  4. The right to self-archive the article.

Co-authorship
If the article was prepared jointly with other authors, the signatory of this form warrants that he/she has been authorized by all co-authors to sign this agreement on their behalf, and agrees to inform his/her co-authors of the terms of this agreement.

Royalties
This agreement entitles the author to no royalties or other fees. To such extent as legally permissible, the author waives his or her right to collect royalties relative to the article in respect of any use of the article by International Journal of Law Policy and Governance or its sublicensee.

Miscellaneous
International Journal of Law Policy and Governance will publish the article (or have it published) in the Journal if the article’s editorial process is successfully completed and International Journal of Law Policy and Governance or its sublicensee has become obligated to have the article published. International Journal of Law Policy and Governance may conform the article to a style of punctuation, spelling, capitalization, and usage that it deems appropriate.

 

Digital Archiving Policy


Digital preservation can be seen as the set of processes and activities that ensure information which now exists in digital formats is backed up and distributed to guarantee continued access for the long term. The digital content of the journal is extremely valuable and measures are in place to ensure both its current accessibility and long-term preservation. The preservation policy includes the following measures:

Website archiving

All of our electronic content (website, manuscripts, etc.) is stored on three different sources. Content on one server is online and accessible to the readers. The copy of the same content is kept as a backup on two other sources. In case of failure of one server, any one of the other sources can be made online and website expected to be accessible within less than 24-36 hours.

 

Abstracting/Indexing services

Our journal’s Abstracting/Indexing services store many essential information about the articles. Additionally, two of our journal’s Abstracting/Indexing services archive not only the metadata about the article, but the electronic versions of the articles, as well. Therefore, copies of the articles are available to the scientific community through their systems as an alternative to the journals own.

 

Self-archiving

Authors may archive the final published version of their articles in personal or institutional repositories immediately after publication.
