Abstract

This study aims to analyze the comparison of bank health levels on stock returns between state-owned banks and private banks. The data used is the financial statement data of state-owned banks and private banks for the period 2015-2019. The analysis method used is descriptive, associative, and comparative analysis The results showed that there were differences in the level of bank health between state-owned banks and private banks. BUMN banks and private banks have advantages in ratios such as NPL, LDR, ROA, NIM, and CAR. In addition, this study also found differences in stock returns between state-owned banks and private banks in the 2015-2019 period. This study contributes to the understanding of bank health and its effect on stock returns. The results of this study can be used as a reference for investors and decision makers in choosing investments in the banking sector.
